Firing head
The firing head is used in TCP operation, and ZZ TOP supplies below different mode to meet the different requirements during the oilfield operation.
*Sand-proof mechanical firing head is initiated by dropping bar from the top of well bore to initiate detonating cord and booster, and then the perforating charges.
*Sand-proof mechanical firing head is initiated by dropping bar from the top of well bore to fire the gun, this firing head suitable for used in watery mud well and small-inclined well.
*Dual-initiation firing head is initiated by dropping bar or by pressurizing.
*Dual-direction pressure actuated firing head is installed between gun strings and activated by annulus pressurizing.With dual-direction initiation, it highly improves the reliability of detonation transmission.
*Differential firing head is used in DST Combined TCP operation and underbalanced perforating operation.
*Pressure-controlled firing head is used in TCP operation in shallow wells(in no more than 500 m deep). It is activated by pressurizing with low pressure(<10MPa). It is specially used in compound operation with oil pump in super-shallow wells.
*Slim hole pressure actuated firing head is used in pressure activated TCP operation. It is installed on gun joint that is connected with tubing.
*Percussion hole opening compound firing head is used in TCP operation. It is adapted to dropping bar and has double functions of initiation and hole opening.
*Mechanical full bore firing head is used in Full bore perforating operation. It is activated by dropping bar form the mouth of well bore. Debris fall into tail gun after initiation, and an opening hole ofΦ60mm is formed for passing testing apparatus.
